The sun has left us, the ocean rises. None can remember when the tower appeared, but everyone feels its pull, hears its song. Divisions manifest: Those who submit, making pilgrimage to the base of the tower to be subsumed. Those who turn feral, mad from fear or anticipation, and attack those around them. Those who merely struggle to survive, desperately clinging to the final fleeting threads of their lives.

Rain is none of the above. Rain is a hero, awake at last, here to defeat the tower.

This is a story about the end of the world – or perhaps just an end of a world. Each mystery contains new secrets and each secret reveals new mysteries, and your deepest fears may be your only clues. Journey across Bound City to unravel the mystery of the tower, a journey of terror and sorrow, a journey of joy and love, a journey of hatred: Burning, unending, pristine.

Once you deny death, what do you have left to fear?

  • Open-world 2d action with a focus on precision and tactics
  • Strange and sad, absurd and sprawling narrative
  • Find unique weapons, armors, and special tools with unique traits and abilities; use them to navigate the environment and defeat enemies in unexpected ways
  • Explore a city where each street, alley, and building has its own name and story
  • Meet curious characters exploring the city for their own reasons, each with their own personality and tale to tell
  • Uncover the mystery of life after death – or was it the other way around?

Bound City is currently in development, and after 2 years has completed its first major milestone, a polished demo comprised of the first three sections (Chapter 1: Join the Madness). The demo is not currently publicly available, but this could change in the future.
